Subscription-Based Resource Guides Policy & Agreement POLICY

1. Subscription Policy

Making An Impact, Inc. offers online community resource guides through an annual subscription. This policy explains how subscriptions work, how billing occurs, and how subscribers may cancel or request refunds.

Subscription Term and Renewal

Subscriptions are provided on a 12-month basis and automatically renew each year unless canceled prior to the renewal date. The payment method on file will be charged at the start of each subscription period.

Who the Subscription Is For

Subscriptions are designed primarily for organizational use, including nonprofits, employers, government entities, faith-based organizations, and community partners.

Cancellation

Subscribers may cancel at any time prior to renewal by contacting Making An Impact using the contact information listed on our website or through an online account if available. Cancellation stops future charges, but does not provide a refund for the current subscription term unless otherwise stated.

Refund Policy

Initial purchases are eligible for a full refund if requested within 7 days of purchase. Renewal charges may be refunded if requested within 7 days of the renewal date. After these periods, subscriptions are non-refundable, but access continues through the paid term.

2. Terms of Service – Legal Version

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between the subscriber and Making An Impact, Inc.

License and Use

Making An Impact grants the subscriber a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the subscribed resource guides for internal organizational purposes only, specifically with their own staff, volunteers, or clients, unless otherwise licensed in writing.

Restrictions

Subscribers may not reproduce, distribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly display the guides or their contents without prior written consent from an authorized representative of Making An Impact.

Auto-Renewal and Billing

Subscriptions automatically renew annually. By subscribing, the subscriber expressly authorizes recurring charges to the payment method on file.

Limitation of Liability

Making An Impact provides guides for informational purposes only and does not guarantee the availability, eligibility, or outcomes of services listed. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the subscription.

I/we understand that the Community Connections Resource Guide is a copyrighted work of Making An Impact, Inc. (MAI), all rights reserved, and may not be reproduced, repurposed, or presented as original work by an individual or organization without explicit written permission from an authorized Making An Impact representative.

Policy Agreement and Attribution & Acknowledgment Consent *

I/we agree to Making An Impact’s subscription policy and consent to their recognition of the subscriber as listed below.

By completing a purchase, the purchaser consents to the limited use of their name and/or organizational affiliation by Making An Impact, Inc. for acknowledgment, marketing, and reporting purposes related to the Community Resource Guide, products, or services.

 If desired, purchasers may submit a testimonial or brief case example describing how the guide is used. Submission of a testimonial is optional and does not affect the purchase. (check all that apply)

List MAI as a Partner: I/we agree to list Making An Impact, Inc. as a community partner or resource on our website.

Identify MAI’s Guide for Program Use: I/we agree to acknowledge use of the MAI guide for our navigational, referral, and/or case management programs.

Provide a Guide Testimony or Case Example: I/we agree to submit a brief written testimonial or short case example describing how the MAI guide is used or how it supports a client or program.
